3 Drug Arrests; Domestic Assault; Shoplifting: Cranston Police Log

CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between June 26 and June 28.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in, as well as the time of the arrest, were only omitted when not provided by police.

June 26

10:58 a.m. — Adrien Hebert, 42, of Cranston, was charged with receiving stolen goods and driving on a suspended license (fourth offense or greater). Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to the CVS on Pontiac Avenue.

2:56 p.m. — Janice Stewart, 29, of Cranston, was charged with shoplifting. Police said Stewart was picked up on a warrant at the Pawtucket Police Department.

5:29 p.m. — Amauris Pena, 52, of Providence, was charged with possession of fentanyl. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on Beckwith Street.

June 27

3 a.m. — Alex Marta, 24, of Cranston, was arrested on a warrant out of the Warwick Police Department.

7:05 p.m. — Noel Caouette, 68, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

June 28

5:45 p.m. — Frank King, 35, of Lincoln, was charged with shoplifting. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to the Stop & Shop on Garfield Avenue.

6:14 p.m. — Edwin Malave, 35, of Providence, was charged with possession of crack cocaine (less than 10 grams). Police said the arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue.

6:14 p.m. — James Capuano, 38, of Pawtucket, was charged with possession of crack cocaine (less than 10 grams). Police said the arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue.

6:49 p.m. — Juan Rodriguez, 34, of Cranston, was charged with two counts of violating a no-contact order.

7:11 p.m. — Alexis Pombeiro, 21, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.
