Job Description
KLKN is looking for a Breaking News Anchor to join our morning team in Lincoln.
This position will require someone who will take an active role in discovering and creating new content as well as a back-up anchor for AM newscast. We're looking for someone who will jump on breaking news with the ability to research, write, report, photograph, video a variety of stories. The ideal candidate will have the ability to employ critical thinking skills to dig and go “beyond the press release” to turn stories. This position will be fast-paced with tight deadlines and requires someone who can think on their feet. The right candidate will be able to perform creative live shots in a clear and concise delivery to help grow the audience.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• A four-year degree in journalism or related field, or equivalent professional experience
