Compensation:

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,850
  • Hourly rate: $27.00
  • 40+ hours per week, overtime paid after 40 hours
  • Per diem pay: $50.00 per night
• Bonuses
  • Sign on bonus: $500, Pays you $250 at 30 days and $250 at 90 days
  • Tenure Bonus: pays You $1000 each year you are with the company from Nov. 1- to Oct. 31
  • Unlimited driver referral bonuses
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home weekly, including weekends
  • work days: Monday – Friday
• Route: VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ, NYC and DC
  • Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper
• Load Securement – Strapping, Tarping and Chaining
  • some loads may be no touch
  • Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack, Rollers, Lift Gate and Moffett

Equipment:

• Trucks are three years or newer
• 48' and 53' Flatbed, day cab and sleepers
• Manual and automatics
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A License
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must live within 30 miles of Philadelphia, PA
