Position Description:

The Word of God Church and Ministries Baltimore is a nondenominational Christian church located in a residential neighborhood in the Northwest section of the City of Baltimore. Pastor Ronald Green is our Senior Pastor, and a son of the ministry. The church is seeking a keyboardist to join the church family. The right candidate will demonstrate a life of worship unto God and a desire to use one's musical gifts to minister to others and lead the congregation in joyful praise unto God.

Schedule: Primarily Sunday Worship/Flexible Hours

Position Functions :

1. Facilitate praise through the piano in Sunday services. Should be at the church no later than 9:30 AM each Sunday to usher in services which begin at 10:00 AM.
2. Plan, collaborate, and implement the music ministry along with other members and church leadership to plan praise & worship services.
3. Participate in weekly rehearsal with other musicians under the direction of the Worship Leader.
4. Perform in special events such as weddings, funerals, holiday gatherings.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Position Skill Set :

• Heart-felt calling to ministry through music.
• Experience in a church setting and familiarity with gospel songs and traditional hymns.
• Willingness to learn new material.
• Consistently and timely participation in church events, rehearsals & Sunday Service as previously arranged with the Worship Leader.
• Desired, but not required to play the organ and piano.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience as a keyboardist/instrumentalist in a church congregation.
• A believer who is committed to ministry work.
• Highly self-motivated and directed
