POSITION SUMMARY

This Outside Sales Consultant offers the opportunity to be the face of Lumbermen’s Door Division in the Minneapolis market. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for developing and fostering relationships. This position offers flexibility with overnight travel. Day-to-day responsibilities for this position include:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Actively listening to customers and prospects needs
  • Obtaining and growing a personal knowledge of our door product offerings
  • Offering exceptional customer/vendor support and timely service
  • Evaluating, motivating, and training both new and existing customers
  • Understanding and executing the annual sales plan
  • Developing and executing annual and monthly sales objectives in accordance with the business plan of Lumbermen's
  • Performing analysis of your market and territory needs
  • Communicating clearly with your internal and external stakeholders

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • 5 years’ prior outside sales experience
  • Entry door and/or building materials industry experience strongly desired.

  • Ability to build and foster strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and challenges to drive for maximum customer-driven results.
  • Ability to make persuasive product presentations targeting customer needs.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
