Empowering Integrated Care located in Beachwood, OH is looking to add a full-time and part-time Registered Behavior Technicia n to our growing team. This position will provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses and BE A PART OF GROUNDBREAKING RESEARCH – A PILOT STUDY FOR PERSONS SERVED. This position supports the activities of the Mental Health/Therapeutic Behavior Support Programs (MH/TBS) within an integrated care model.

Responsibilities:

• Implements the therapeutic Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provides education to clients/guardians/group home staff on the components of the MH/TBS Program and client specific goals
• Provides 1:1 skill development with persons served per the BSPs; collaborates with client supports/residential providers to observe and collect daily client behavioral data in ABA data collection software
• Assist in safety planning for persons served; reports all critical incidents per agency policy
• Attends the weekly MH/TBS meetings to ensure effective implementation of the BSPs
• Attends all client meetings and maintains ongoing contacts with other collaborating providers to ensure optional treatment outcomes for persons served
• Meets with supervisor (BCBA) 2 X month for individual supervision and administrative supervisor 1 X month
• Completes client documentation per agency policy and according to external licensing and regulatory standards
• Provides services and emergency coverage to clients as assigned by the BCBA or other designated administrative staff
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as appropriate to the needs of the clients
• Actively participates in the agency’s continuous quality improvement process
• Maintains the RBT credential and adheres to the BACB guidelines for ethical conduct and ongoing supervision

Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in behavior analysis
• One year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses preferred
• Ability to work with individuals with diverse needs
• Have an acceptable background check, driving record, valid driver’s license
• Must be able to travel – this position is community based so you will be driving from group homes, day programs, etc
