Job Summary:
Exciting new opportunity to start andto join an innovative, community-based behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities services organization located in South Georgia.Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300 direct-care and support staff. We provide services to 6 rural counties with several locations. We strive to provide the highest quality, evidence-based services in the least restrictive settings.

The selected applicant will have the pleasure of providinga broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers and their families. In addition,with conductingpatient/client/consumer intakes, participates in treatment team planning, and performs crisis intervention. Additionally, the applicant mayassistin dealing with personal and social problems. Select applicant may provide supportive counseling to consumers and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services and perform case management duties.
Must be a Certified Peer Specialist (Applicant must have a mental health diagnosis with a minimum of one year of recovery and have a certificate (CPS) OR become CPS Certified within 6 months).

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and two years' experience in a social service-relatedposition Or Bachelor's degree in a social service-relatedfield Or One year at the lower level or position equivalent.
Position requires a valid driver's license and must be a Certified Peer Specialist (Applicant must have a mental health diagnosis with a minimum of one year of recovery and have a certificate (CPS) OR become CPS Certified within 6 months).
