The program selects 20 participants through an interview process. The participants then go through training, which covers biotech laboratory practices, good manufacturing practices, using lab equipment, documentation and standard operating procedures.
There will also be training on interviewing and building a resume.
At the end of the program, there will be a job fair with biotech and pharmaceutical companies who may be hiring.
RI Bio is looking for companies to participate in the job fair, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, people who work with medical devices and employers in agriculture or aquaculture.
